I built my very first website back in 1994 with the help of Angelfire and later Geocities, and have had a love for it ever since. Around 2001 while stationed in Hawaii I began getting serious about web development and started teaching myself PHP and MySQL. After finishing my enlistment in the military in 2006 I got a job making websites and have been developing professionally ever since. I build websites with various tools and will utilize various scripts and technologies to best meet the project needs.
If I didn't have to worry about money ever again, I would spend most of my time making websites. I love building something from scratch and seeing people all over the world using and enjoying it. Some of the bigger companies I have done website work for in the past include Intel, OkumaFishing, SavageGear Fishing, ESS, Sundance, Ferrari, San Disk, Denon, HelpMeMarch, StubHub and DrumHead Magazine.
When I’m not programming I spend my time playing volleyball, softball, kickball, reliving my military days by playing airsoft and spending time with my kids. I used to also be very active in Drum and Bugle Corps as a member and staff, and also taught at several high school marching bands. I also currently teach the marching band at Moscow High School. My second profession is photography.
