About Eric

Hi, welcome to my portfolio! I am a LAMP stack website developer (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP). My main concentration is backend programming and database driven sites, but I can also work the front end as well. I build websites with various tools and will utilize various scripts and technologies to best meet the project needs.

I built my very first website back in 1994 with the help of Angelfire and Geocities and have had a love for it ever since. Around 2001 While stationed in Hawaii I began getting serious about web development and started working with PHP and MySQL. After finishing my enlistment in the military in 2006 I began programming professionally full time and have been doing it ever since.

I love to create websites and seeing thousands of people using and loving something I created.

Some of the bigger companies I have done website work for in the past include OkumaFishing, SavageGear, ESS, Sundance, Ferrari, San Disk, Denon, HelpMeMarch, StubHub and DrumHead Magazine.

I now live in eastern WA and currently freelancing. I am open to the opportunity of contract or full time work, however I am unable to relocate at this time. When I’m not programming I spend my time playing volleyball and reliving my military days by playing airsoft. I used to also be very active in Drum and Bugle Corps as a marching member and on staff, and also taught at several high school marching bands.

Feel free to view my portfolio as well and please feel free to contact me if you have any questions!
